Why should you contribute to VBCD?
Though Conservation Districts are
local units of Government, they are
not funded by state dollars alone.
Much of Conservation District
funding relies on dollars from
private sources, partnerships with
local entities, charges for certain
services and from individual
donations.

From ideas about natural landscaping, to helpful hints about water, pesticide and
fertilizer usage, to agricultural conservation planning and technical assistance,
irrigation scheduling and drill rental; the Conservation District is truly
“Your Natural Resource Resource”.

By supporting the Van Buren Conservation District with your tax-deductible donation,
you will also receive our quarterly newsletter and special invitations to Conservation
District events!

I'd like to support the general work of the
Van Buren Conservation District
Contributions to the Conservation District go to support local conservation
projects and programs in Van Buren County such as the Black River Watershed
Project and the Michigan Groundwater Stewardship Program which help to
conserve, enhance and protect the natural resources of Van Buren County.

The educational resources and technical assistance provided by Conservation
Districts are valuable resources to their communities as we work together to put
conservation on the land.
